The village of Puisseguin rises on the clay-limestone plateau of St Emilion as it extends eastwards. A charming wine, full of ripe plum and blueberry fruit, supported by toasty oak. Ample-textured, with juicy fruit balanced by firm tannins and great structure. With 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, this wine fully expresses its terroir through the finesse of its bouquet, and restrained tannins.
